As Chief Strategy Officer for U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance (formerly U.S. Bancorp
Community Development Corporation), Jillian led strategy development and monitoring, communications and marketing, employee experience, and impact measurement for one of the most active and diverse community investment and environmental finance platforms in the nation. Jillian also played a leadership role in standing up several enterprise-wide efforts, including U.S. Bank’s social impact and environmental strategies; the U.S. Bank Access Commitment; and the bank’s ESG strategy, roadmap and operating model.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Jillian served as the Chief Community Building Officer at
Beyond Housing, a St. Louis based community development corporation. In this role, Jillian had direct oversight of the organization’s nationally recognized 24:1 Initiative – an innovative, comprehensive community building initiative – and all related programs, partnerships, budgets, and staff. She also led the organizations strategic initiatives, including firm-wide strategic planning and managing the start-up and execution of the organization’s program evaluation & improvement process.
Jillian received her Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she focused on exploring the causes and effects of poverty in America and specialized in research. She received a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University, Harvard Extension School. Jillian was named by American Banker amongst the Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance Top Teams in 2022; was selected for an Alumni Award of Distinction by the Brown School, Washington University in St. Louis in 2021; and was named to the class of 40 Under 40 by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2020.
